BEAVERBROOK HOTEL: COUNTRY HOUSE WEDDING VENUE IN SURREY

Before the end of the year I had multiple new clients to find venues for - from smaller 60 guest celebrations to much larger 250 guest events. Every year I review the best venues across the UK and this year, with site visits and interviews with their event teams (if they have them). This year I have rather fallen in love with Beaverbrook in Surrey.

Just 20 miles from London the elegant interiors of this boutique luxury hotel are the perfecty backdrop to a wedding or private party. There are over 450 acres o fbeautiful grounds and gardens, and the entire property can be booked exclusively.

Weddings can only be hosted for up to 70 from Monday to Thursday either in The House and/or The Garden House. However with a significant trend towards smaller weekday weddings this would be a perfect fit for a couple wanting to stay within easy reaching distance of airports and the city.

Those of you who love the laid back luxury look will feel right at home at Beaverbrook, where the interiors were chosen by Susie Atkinson who’s also responsible for many of the Soho House properties. The style of this hotel is modern and current, but not trendy, comfortable yet stylish, and completely individual.

The Beaverbrook mansion is named after its best-known former resident Lord Beaverbrook – a close friend of Winston Churchill. He threw wild parties for celebrities, and each room in the house is named after a famous guest of the past.
