Secret Sicilian bar, restaurant & Party Venue: Nunziatina + La double J

We went to so many incredible restaurants when we visited Sicily in May, from tiny local recommendations, to fine dining, beach clubs and street food. One of our favourites that was recommended to us by the fabulous team at Four Seasons Taormina was just around the corner from them, called Nunziatina.

The decor is super cute and colourful, and immediately we felt it would make a fantastic pre-wedding welcome party venue, or location for a private celebration. We tried lots on the menu and every single thing was just delicious and so beautifully presented. The menu is thoroughly modern but with regional influence and local ingredients.

I actually, by chance wore a La Double J dress that night, and we made sure to visit the flagship store in Taormina the next day. Gloriously colourful and effortlessly chic, not only did we want to buy up every outfit but all of the linens and homeware nearly came home with us too!

Side story: we once created an incredible welcome party dinner design at a beautiful villa in Rome inspired by JJ Martin with an Asian twist. It was absolutely incredible.
