Weddings at Four Seasons taormina, San Domenico Palace, Sicily

weddings at four seasons taormina san domenico palace sicily

This year we have been exploring destination wedding and party venues across Europe, and spent a week in Sicily visiting the very best hotels and restaurants during our stay. The wonderful team at Four Seasons are like family to us and we have adored planning stunning celebrations (like this multi day wedding) at their hotels worldwide - from Bangkok to the UK.

So naturally our first stop when we arrived in Taormina was at the Four Seasons Taormina, San Domenico Palace -made even more famous when featured in The White Lotus Season 2.

It's in such a perfect location to stroll to the shops and restaurants nearby, and is a truly historical building with views of the ocean and Mount Etna. It's a rare venue with an incredible story and the most beautiful event spaces inside and out. The lush gardens, cloistered courtyard and stone buildings are the perfect backdrop for a romantic ceremony or dinner, and judging by the breakfast granita we sampled in the restaurant you will be utterly spoiled with the most incredible food too. We were lucky enough to be able to check out one of the suites with a private plunge pool and stunning marble bathroom.

The incredible management, concierge and in house events team work closely with top international wedding designers and event planners on exclusive celebrations, with excellent recommendations for local fine dining, sailing experiences, and tour guides so that your guests can experience the magic of the island with multi-day events and down time during their stay.

With a capacity for up to 350 guests, if you are looking for a destination venue in the Mediterranean overlooking the Ionian sea, then Four Seasons Taormina should definitely be on your shortlist!
